Show Description:
What happens to people's cell phones when they die? In this dramatic comedy by MacArthur "Genius" Grant recipient and Pulitzer Prize finalist Sarah Ruhl, a woman for an appreciation for the old-fashioned comes across a morbid situation where she finds herself answering a dead man's phone calls. As she becomes increasingly determined to tie up his loose ends and preserve his relationships, she comes to confront her own assumptions about morality. Blending both poetic fantasies and mundane reality, this play examines how we memorialize the dead and the state of human connection in our technology-obsessed world.
