Criteria For Posting

Due to the fact that the Cleveland Stage Alliance is currently updated by one person, we are only listing productions that meet the following criteria:

• The production must be locally-produced. Touring productions or out-of-town streaming productions will not be listed, unless they are co-produced with a local venue.

  • Local venues include those within the Northeast Ohio region. As a rule, typically not much more than a 60 minute drive from Cleveland.

• The production must be a play, musical, opera, or devised piece at a professional, community, church, college, or youth theatre (high schools are currently not included, unless they are a performing arts school.)

  • Listed productions can be a full production, a staged reading, a concert production, or a cabaret.

    • Cabarets will only be listed provided that the cabaret is about theatrical topics (i.e. musical songs), features a company of actors that is from local theatre, or is produced at/by a local theatre.

  • Dance, improv, classes, and ballet are not listed.

• The Cleveland Stage Alliance has the right to refuse to promote any production we wish, for any reason, whether or not it meets the above criteria.
