Percy Jackson has his struggles, just like any modern teenager. Then, things start to get weird. What if the mythical gods of ancient Greece are real, and one of them turns out to be your dad? It’s probably a good time to harness secret powers, assemble a team of demigods, and embark on an epic quest to prevent the apocalypse.
This marks the 15th anniversary of spring partnership productions with Playhouse Square and Baldwin Wallace University. The show will be directed by BW music theatre grad Chris McCarrell, star of the Broadway and touring productions of “Lightning Thief.”

Health and Safety Guidelines
MASKS
Audience members may choose whether to wear a mask at Playhouse Square, although there may be exceptions required by certain artists or productions. Guests who are unvaccinated are asked to wear a mask. We ask that all audience members be respectful of one another's choices. Guests exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 or who have tested positive within the last 14 days must stay home.
CASHLESS TRANSACTIONS
All transactions inside the theaters will be cashless. All food and beverage purchases must be made with a valid debit or credit card, or with mobile wallet options such as Apple Pay or Google Pay. Cash accepted at all merchandise and souvenir locations.
AIR QUALITY
Playhouse Square has the latest HVAC technology, including air handlers equipped with MERV 13 rated filters, which are known to trap COVID-19 particles. As an additional measure, GPS brand bi-polar ionization, which is known to reduce risk from COVID-19, has been installed in our HVAC system. The theaters will be prepared by running portable HEPA filter units for three hours prior to each performance.

All engagements will be ticketed up to full capacity.
