The Comedy of Errors is light, frothy entertainment, driven by coincidence and slapstick humor. Comedy and confusion abound when two sets of twins, separated by a shipwreck decades prior, happen to appear in the same town and (naturally) happen to be wearing the same clothing! The new arrivals cause a series of incidents of mistaken identity in Shakespeare’s wonderfully predictable and entertaining comedy.
