Written by one of Israel’s most beloved playwrights after a terminal diagnosis, Requiem dares to tackle the big questions of “life and death” with poetry, frankness, and a lot of humor. One old man embarks on a series of journeys to ward off death failing to see the life all around him amidst the colorful characters he encounters along the way—an old medic, two drunks, three cherubs, and two prostitutes who dream of moving to Paris.
This ground-breaking United States premiere production resets the play in an American landscape and stars Cleveland’s renown actor and activist Peter Lawson Jones* in the central role.

Health and Safety Guidelines
MASKS PROTOCOLS
Effective November 22, 2022, masks are optional, but recommended for patrons, staff, and volunteers in all public areas of CPT.
We realize that all people are unique and have different levels of comfort while attending live performances; thus, we are offering patrons the option of attending one of our Covid-Conscious performances on Thursdays for Test Flight and Danceworks; and Sundays for mainstage performances. The events/shows where these performances are offered will be indicated on each event’s page. Patrons will be required to wear masks for the duration of these events. Per the CDC, the masks that offer the best protection against Covid-19 are N95, K95 or surgical. Masks will be available upon request at the box office.
SEATING
All CPT productions have General Admission seating on a first come, first served basis, unless otherwise specified. If you or someone in your party has any accessibility needs, you can make an accessibility request by calling the Box Office or online when purchasing tickets
STAY HOME IF ILL
Ticket holders who have been exposed to COVID-19 and/or are experiencing symptoms are asked to remain at home and contact the box office to discuss flexible options for their tickets.
