"At Wit's End" is a literary celebration of four core members of the infamous Algonquin Hotel Round Table from 1919 to 1929. Join Dorothy Parker, Alexander Woollcott, Edna Ferber and Robert Benchley as they trade witty barbs, share scintillating conversation and challenge each other via a public reading of their individual short stories as they while away a rainy afternoon at their favorite rendezvous, Manhattan’s famous and storied Algonquin Hotel Dining Room. Their razor-sharp wits, and clever literary creations will be enhanced by solo piano works of George Gershwin, a favorite guest artist at the “Algonks” gatherings.
