Maelstrom Collaborative Arts is excited to present a 6-week long residency program showcasing physically-distant + socially-relevant work to our neighbors in the Detroit-Shoreway and Cleveland community.
Each weekend, new sets of visual and performing artists will take over our storefront windows to create work that can be viewed from the safety of our sidewalk. New artists will be installing weekly from July 24-August 30.
This program continues our mission to create artistic platforms for local creators even in the midst of a pandemic.

While the residencies are designed to avoid contact between artist and audience, we encourage all audience members to wear masks and maintain adequate distance (min. 6 ft.) between themselves on the sidewalk in front of Maelstrom.
