Show Description:
In this world-premiere production, young people of color recognize their spiritual, mental, and emotional immortality—and in claiming their power, they discover their ability to heal themselves and others. This innovative new musical, featuring the sounds of hip-hop, rap, Afrobeat, R&B, and gospel, challenges perceived notions of Greek mythology and Westernized theater. The production team includes Ti Ames ’19 as associate director, dramaturg, and vocal coach.
