The Pen and the Sword is an original musical written by Naci Konar-Steenberg and Thorin Finch and directed by Thorin Finch and Kate Magnacca. Hazel, an aspiring fantasy author, gets the opportunity to attend the grad school of her dreams, but her plans of finishing her novel go awry when she ends up trapped in her own fantasy world, while her protagonist runs amok in the real world. Whimsy, adventure, and introspection ensue.
