Wet Skeleton is an original surrealist horror/comedy initially written for Kari Barclay's Playwriting Workshop class.
After married couple Reed and Gale discover that their plastic skeleton has been mysteriously moistened, the world spirals and contorts into an abstract cycle of life and death. Set entirely in one room over the course of 90 minutes, Wet Skeleton paints a portrait of a family that builds itself, destroys itself, and does it all over again.
Wet Skeleton deals with themes including cycles of violence, race and whiteness, family, generational trauma, suicide, death.
