Professional Theatre

By: Arthur Miller

March 10 - March 27, 2022

Show Description:

It’s the height of World War II, and Joe Keller and Steve Deever run a successful machine shop making airplane parts for American planes. But when it is discovered that the firm manufactures defective parts and have cause the death of many soldiers, Deever is blamed, tried, and sent to prison. Now, it’s 1947. The war is over and the business scandal is in the past. Keller and his family try to move on from these traumas of work and war—but when Deever’s daughter Ann comes to visit, it seems that the past is not yet ready to be put to bed. This Arthur Miller masterpiece is a touching snapshot of an American family recuperating from war tragedy, both abroad and at home.

Health and Safety Guidelines

Below is a bullet point list of the current required safety measures for patrons as of January 1, 2022. Ohio Shakespeare Festival will be pleased to lift these measures once the COVID-19 pandemic is over.

If you are purchasing tickets, please know that we currently require:

Masks when not eating and drinking; masks must be worn in-between bites and sips.

Proof of Vaccination or negative COVID-19 test* results from no earlier than 72 hours (for PCR) or 24 hours (rapid at home test) before your performance date.

Children 11 and under (who are not eligible for the vaccines) need not provide a negative test, but must be masked.

Note: the CDC does not recommend children ages 2 and under to be masked.

Social distancing (automatically done for you when purchasing reserved tickets).

*ShakesBEER events require vaccination proof; because of the nature of these bar events, negative tests will not be accepted for ShakesBEERs.

Ohio Shakes highly recommends that patrons receive a booster shot, but as of now are not requiring boosters.

We will announce via email, the website, and all our social media platforms if and when safety protocols change.

You are free to email info@ohioshakespeare.com with any questions.

All Ohio Shakespeare Festival actors, employees, and volunteers are fully vaccinated.
