Lucy, the daughter of Dr. Seward, is on the brink of death from a mysterious illness. She requires constant blood transfusions and is plagued by terrifying dreams. On her throat are two small red puncture marks—wounds she desperately tries to hide beneath a scarf. What could be causing this? And who is the enigmatic Count Dracula, a shadowy figure said to wander in darkness and heed the cries of wolves in the night? As the strange ravings from a disturbed patient named Renfield fill the sanitorium, Dr. Seward joins forces with Van Helsing and Lucy’s devoted fiancé, Jonathan Harker.
