It’s the sixth-annual go-round for our knockout series celebrating where the American musical is right now (and going back just 25 years). The contemporary creativity is astonishing and includes such hits as the Tony Award-winning Kimberly Akimbo and John Kander, Fred Ebb and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s New York, New York, along with Some Like It Hot and Shucked. Sheri Gross and Nancy Maier co-host; the singers include Nicole Sumlin and Eric Fancher.
