Tiny Beautiful Things

Twin Masks Performing Arts Center

Twinsburg, OH
Community Theatre

By: Nia Vardolas and Cheryl Strayed

August 4 - August 19, 2023

Show Description:

Based on the best-selling book by Cheryl Strayed and adapted for the stage by Nia Vardalos, Tiny Beautiful Things personifies the questions and answers that “Sugar” was publishing online from 2010-2012. When the struggling writer was asked to take over the unpaid, anonymous position of advice columnist, Strayed used empathy and her personal experiences to help those seeking guidance for obstacles both large and small. Tiny Beautiful Things is a play about reaching when you’re stuck, healing when you’re broken, and finding the courage to take on the questions which have no answers.

Health and Safety Guidelines

For the safety of our patrons and volunteers, please note the following mandates will be in place to attend any of our productions for the foreseeable future due to the continued COVID 19 pandemic.

Effective Sunday, May 1, 2022, patrons will no longer be required to show proof of vaccination (or booster).  However, all patrons and those volunteers working box office, lights/sound and backstage will be required to wear a KN95 mask (supplied by the theatre) for the duration of your time in our space.

If a patron is feeling ill or has symptoms of COVID on the day of a production, we respectfully request the patron contact our box office to reserve another day; if that is not possible a full refund will be made to the patron.

If a patient has been diagnosed with COVID, patron must have a negative COVID PCR test prior to attending a production.  Proof of that negative PCR test must be presented at time of check-in and must be 14 days prior to said production.  If that is not possible, a full refund will be made to the patron.

The remaining mandates as below remain in place:

1.  ALL theatre volunteers must be fully vaccinated and boosted and show proof of vaccination to participate in any production in any capacity.

2.  It is strongly recommended, although no longer mandatory, for patrons to wear masks while visiting our theatre.  Surgical and KN95 masks will still made available for patrons should they wish to wear one during their visit to our theatre.

Our theatre will be deep cleaned following each rehearsal and performance (floor, door knobs, bathrooms,  dressing rooms, etc.) to further ensure the safety of our patrons and volunteers.

If any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Claudia Lillibridge at claudia@twinmasks.org.

We appreciate your willingness to follow the above rules.
