The year is 1943 and the Feddington Players are geared up to present their contemporary take on Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Though it seems a coups to snag famous soap opera star William St. Claire to play Scrooge, a mid-show breakdown on his part leads to a hilarious improvised “save” of Tiny Tim… and even the Lindberg Baby. This charming show demonstrates long ago art of “live radio,” alongside traditional caroling, 1940s style commercials that would never fly today and an amazing rendition of the well known Dickens tale. It is heart warming and funny and a great way to usher in the Christmas season.
