Set in the 1590's, the musical "Something Rotten" follows the Bottom brothers, struggling playwrights who seek to outdo their contemporary, William Shakespeare, by creating the world's first musical. Along the way, they encounter a soothsayer, a Puritan, and a theatrical patron, all of whom add to the chaos and hilarity that ensues.
